PedraViva
Nottinghamshire based Christian charity supporting disadvantaged
or abused children in Brazil.
Each project supports vulnerable children, aiming to prevent them from becoming 'street children’, helping them achieve the best that God wants for their lives, and offering them the opportunity to discover faith in Jesus. Being shown love and encouraged to work together in a team brings out the best in young people wherever they live.
PedraViva’s name, 'Living stone' came from Nilce's vision
to find and support 'living stones' - precious children
from the huge 'Pedreira' shanty-town - the former quarry
which is her school catchment area.
