Vagner and Lea, Brazilian friends of ours for some years and Pentecostal pastors, are working in this very poor North-Eastern city.
They have begun a new social work, based around their church. We were able to link them with UK charity Hands Around The World (www.handsaroundtheworld.com) who organised a project team from Jersey who visited for a month in January to help build a centre for social and educational facilities.
Please pray for Lea as she struggles with her health, and for clarity and provision as they feel called to hand the project over once fully functioning, and to move on in a new direction.
